Con el nombre de Free Tea, el Grupo Aje lanzó al mercado su nueva bebida elaborada a base de extracto de té verde, sin preservantes ni cafeína.Free Tea llega al mercado nacional luego de analizar resultados de estudios de mercado según los cuales, en los últimos años, el consumo del té se ha incrementado tanto en el público femenino como en el masculino.
A decir de Erika Córdova, gerente de marca de Free Tea, la firma estima que con su ingreso al mercado, el consumo de esta tradicional hierba se incremente en 100%. Según información de Euromonitor, en el 2008, el consumo de té en el país ascendió a 2 millones 350 mil litros.
